This stars the Rock (Dewayne Johnson) as he is a retrieval expert. He tries to bring someone back to his father because he needs to work off a debt. While bringing this guy back to his dad, they have to work together to fight off a different enemy. They are back to back and may not like each other but have the same goal-getting out of a corner. You have to have people that have your back when you can’t see the danger. Has God sent you after a person you don’t particularly care for? You end up trying to save them because it’s the right thing to do. 2 Timothy 4:7 paraphrased is “I have fought the good fight, I have done my part. I have kept the faith”. Everyone plays a part in someone else’s life. This person you are saving that you don’t like may end up just being your friend and someone you can count on. You will find a new common goal of helping each other along the way to reach your goals. Sharing the faith is just like trying to rescue someone because you are doing as you are asked. That is a true servant heart. But take heed, you may be doing the right thing but danger is still all around you.
