Have you ever thought about crayons in a box being like the world? Well it is. Before the earth was created, black was there. God created light which white represents and when you combine the two it becomes Gray. But He didn’t stop there. He created red and blue and yellow and when you mix red and blue, you get purple. When you mix blue and yellow you get green. And when you mix yellow and red you get orange.
And if that’s not enough, then you start adding all of those colors and mixing them within themselves and you come up with so many more. Each one of the colors is a person and each person is unique. When we use our gifts, our talents and our voices and our uniqueness we create one beautiful world.
It really doesn’t matter what color your skin is, what religion you follow, or what culture you come from because we are all the same on the inside. The blood inside all of us is the same color. Our organs are the same. The only differences are on the outside, so why can’t we all use our talents, our gifts and our uniqueness together and create the most beautiful world.
Instead of recognizing and pointing out the differences and the flaws and things you don’t agree with, how about recognizing the individual gifts that we each have? How about using those opportunities to work together and create something beautiful.
In the end, it won’t be our skin color or our hair color or our religion or our talents or our bank accounts that we are judged on. It will be our insides. Our hearts will be the deciding factor of where we go from here. Are you gonna limit your crayon box to black-and-white? Are you gonna use every color of the rainbow to create a uniqueness?
Have a blessed and colorful day!
